There are many volunteer opportunities for you at Renewed Hope Center. Our Jobs for Life™ course is looking for the following volunteers to help with the program and it only requires as little or as much time as you want to be involved. The program is made up of seven key functions that have been identified as essential support needed to successfully implement a quality training course. You can volunteer to be on any of these teams:
Administration Team Leader and Team Members
Administrator of all course records; coordinate and oversee information gathering; track students and course volunteers.
Class Relations Team Leader and Team Members
Recruit and schedule course curriculum Group Discussion Leaders; organize and direct the operation logistics of each class to ensure smooth and complete class flow from beginning to end of the course.
Student Relations Team Leader and Team Members
Recruit and screen the unemployed and underemployed who desire to improve their work situation; lead class orientation; organize celebrations and organize and track post-graduation follow-up activities.
Champion Team Leader and Team Members
Recruit, evaluate, train, direct and encourage a team of dedicated Champions; review student progress reports and coordinate post graduation Champion activities. Champions act as encouragers and mentors to the students.
Business Relation Team Leader and Team Members
Recruit and organize a team that identifies local businesses that agree to list job openings and interview qualified graduates; assist with job related class presentations (i.e. Employers Round tables, mock interviews, etc.)
Prayer Team Leader and Team Members
Coordinate and encourage a prayer team that is committed to pray generally and specifically for all components and people involved with the training. On a timely basis, collect and distribute all specific prayer request and needs from course participants.
Other Volunteers
Needed to help answer phones, work with mail out distribution, maintenance task that may occur and cleaning of facility.
